A Call to Artists and Arts Commissioners
We need your help to shape the arts community of Lakewood.

Did you know that the Lakewood Playhouse is celebrating its 73rd season and they now have a concert series? Who doesn't love the beautiful sculpture "The Lily" by George Tsutakawa that graces the Chase Bank entrance on Gravelly Lake Dr.? Did you know that Lakewood is home to one of only a few Frank Lloyd Wright designed houses in the Northwest?
We are a community full of arts and culture thanks to dedicated people who have supported the arts and art programs through our city's rich history. Now is your chance to do the same.
The Lakewood Arts Commission has four vacancies, one of which could potentially be filled by you. Click the link for more information and where to get an application.

Another great opportunity for artists is coming up soon. The annual Mayfest is fast approaching and we need artists to participate. The Lakewood Arts Commission hosts this annual event which features the work of our community artists at beautiful Lakewold Gardens during the rhodedendron bloom.
