My plan for the upcoming season will be: Tuesday 3 to 7 PM 6th Ave. Market Tacoma, WA. Thursday afternoons Broadway Farmers Market, Tacoma, WA. Sunday South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA. Special note: When someone volunteers to help start a new farmers market and they do not return the next year: This is a sign of a problem! This note is to my fellow vendors: Do not get involved with City Government in assisting in starting markets! They use you and have no intention of honoring agreements of perm. involvement of the running of markets! Most vendors can get into any markets: When you spend time assisting with starting a market: Most vendors want to be included in the future of the market! When vendors spend their own time recruiting vendors to come to a new market! They do not want to be just another vendor! I didn't even get a discount for all the help I gave the City of Lakewood/ Or Steilacoom for that matter! So I have moved on! But I sure will not be encouraging my fellow vendors to become vendors at either one of these markets! DRAMA! I suppose you could call it drama! WHAT ABOUT THE TRUTH! I PREFER TO CALL IT THE TRUTH!
