Hairspray "Misfits" - A Musical Production

Every year the Lakewood Boys & Girls Club Drama Club puts on one big play to end the school year. In the past, we have done Annie, Wizard of Oz, and Grease. Ms. Dee our Fine Arts Coordinator is the mastermind behind it all. Through her love of drama and art it has helped our club members shine in ways they never would of thought. Being on stage and performing for an audience has been a great way for our kids to open up and be themselves. Each play has been held at a different venue, such as Mt. Tahoma HS, Lakes HS and now Charles Wright Academy.

Members go through in extensive audition process and practice sessions. They all must continue to follow rules at the club as well as participate in our other programs. 

Our drama club has got a lot of recognition due to the hard work of Ms. Dee and our wonderful kids.

Please come out on June 10, 3pm @ Donn Laughlin Theater at the Charles Wright Academy Performing Arts Center.

Tickets are $10 @ The Lakewood Boys & Girls Club/at the show, proceeds benefit our club.
