Kiwanis Presents Check to Harrison Prep Key Club

Clover Park Kiwanis issued a $400 check to Harrison Preparatory School’s Key Club on January 31st to fund their affiliation as a chartered member of Kiwanis. The check was issued at their Key Club meeting. Harrison Prep’s Key Club became the third chartered with Clover Park Kiwanis along with Clover Park High School and Lakes High School. Harrison Prep’s Key Club advisor is also the Dean of Students, Robert de Grouchy.

Harrison Prep’s Key Club plans on completing the chartering process before Key Club’s Region 24 District Convention at Seatac from March 22nd-March 24th. Region 24 is made up of Key Clubs from Alaska, Canada, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Northern California. Representatives from all three Clover Park School District Key Clubs plan to attend the convention.

At Clover Park Kiwanis, we are always looking for individuals who want to serve in their community. Lakewood’s youth and community are always in need of help. Come down to the Ram Restaurant at 10019 59th Ave SW, Lakewood any Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 PM and see what Kiwanis is all about. Lunch is provided for first-timers.
