My Story of CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)

This crazy thing started during the 2007 winter storm. Like just about everyone, the power was out.

I was freezing for 70 hours (almost 3 days). I vowed I was NEVER going to go through that again! NO WAY!!

Fortunately, we had a break for a couple of years. I went to see my manager, and she told me about the CERT program and what it did. This time, I was going to be prepared. I went through the course and now am an almost-3-year veteran.
