Brush Fire Breaks Out Along I-5 In Lakewood
The fire was reported around 12:15 p.m. Thursday along I-5 in Lakewood.
LAKEWOOD, WA - A large brush fire broke out along northbound I-5 in Lakewood shortly after noon Thursday. State police initially reported the fire at 12:15 p.m. Fire crews had been dispatched to put the fire out.
By about 1 p.m., West Pierce fire crews appeared to have the brush fire under control, although the department warned of lingering smoke in the area.
