By the Bay Car Show to Bring Cool Rides to Steilacoom

Annual car show on Sunday benefits the Steilacoom Historical Education Foundation.

The Steilacoom Historical Education Foundation will bring fabulous cars to town this weekend for the By the Bay Car Show, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

A pancake breakfast will be from 8-10 a.m. and hot dogs will be grilled for lunch. There will also be a silent auction and raffle.

There is no cost to attend, but there is a $20 fee to participate. No pre-registration is required for car owners interested in showing.

The show takes place along Lafayette Street, and the beginning of the show is near the ferry landing off Union Street.

The Steilacoom Historical Education Foundation (SHEF) raises money for grants to the schools and scholarships to graduating seniors for furthering their education beyond high school. In 2012, SHEF gave $3,000 in grants to the schools  and $13,500 in  scholarships to graduating Steilacoom High School seniors.
