Update: Lakes' Cedric Dozier Picks Cal
The senior announced his choice Tuesday at the high school.
Update, 2:53 p.m.: Cedric Dozier is headed to Cal. The senior announced his choice in front of classmates, teammates and family at Lakes High School on Tuesday.
Before making his announcement, he thanked many family members and his coaches for supporting him.
“Bottom line, everyone that has touched my heart, I appreciate you all,” Dozier said. “You all have helped shape who I am.”

Then he donned a Cal cap to cheers from the audience.
“You can’t go wrong with Cal. It’s a win-win situation,” he said. “They’re great people there. And I want to be well-rounded in my environment.”

A day after Lakes High School's Zach Banner announced he'll be playing for USC, fellow senior Cedric Dozier is set to announce his choice.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Dozier plans an announcement at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at .
The Lancers' --who helped No. 2 Lakes to an 11-1 season overall that --was named to Sports Illustrated's All-America Team last month as an honorable mention all-purpose player. He also played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The shutdown cornerback matched up against his opponents' best wide receivers.
Dozier reportedly had been set on Cal, but after coaching changes there is also considering WSU.
