Artists' Proposals Sought For Archway of Lakewood Station Connection Project

Proposals from qualified Washington State residents must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3.

The City of Lakewood is soliciting proposals from Washington state artists interested in providing professional design and fabrication of artwork to be affixed to the archway in the Lakewood Connection Project.

The project consists of a bridge from the Lakewood Sounder Station parking garage across the existing railroad tracks to Kendrick Street S.W. and includes a plaza area that will connect the bridge structure to a cul-de-sac at the roadway's southern terminus.

Proposals from qualified artists must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3.
