Clover Park Kiwanis Donates to Communities in Schools

The Clover Park Kiwanis club recently donated $500 to Communities in Schools of Lakewood (CISL). Funding for the donation was raised at the club’s annual auction/dinner in September. Leah Livingston, CISL site director at Tillicum Elementary School, provided an update on CISL and accepted the check.

Also, Clover Park Kiwanis has a new member, Scott Machaffie. Scott is a neighbor of Immediate Past President and current club treasurer, Mike Darrah. Mike invited Scott to join our group. Scott was a member of Key Club while in high school, and Key Clubs are representations of Kiwanis at the high school level.
