Clover Park School District Seeking Nominations for Employees Of the Year

Trio of winners will be announced at May 14 ceremony.

Know of a great teacher, principal, bus driver or paraeducator?

The Clover Park School District is accepting nominations for its 2012 Employee of the Year awards. One certificated employee, one classified employee and one administrative employee will be selected.

Nominations must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20. Award recipients will be announced at a ceremony prior to the May 14 School Board meeting.

All district employees are eligible regardless of the number of hours worked per day or number of days worked in a school year. Previous winners are eligible to be nominated again.

Last year’s winners were Michael Vincent, Harrison Prep Academy (certificated); Rose Scheidt, Mann Middle School (classified) and Charlotte Clouse, Southgate Elementary School (administrative).

A panel of community residents selects the winners based on information submitted on the nomination forms and from supporting letters. Up to three letters written by students, staff, parents or community members can be attached with each nomination.

Completed nomination forms and letters should be returned to the Community Relations Office, Room 16 at the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Drive S.W.
