Roy Man Found Dead In Trunk Of Car In Lakewood
The body of a 49-year-old Roy man was found Thursday at a local to yard.
LAKEWOOD, WA - Employees at a Lakewood tow yard found a body in the trunk of a car Thursday afternoon. The Pierce County Medical Examiner on Friday identified the body as Tracy Sehmel, 49, of Roy.
The body was discovered around 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Tacoma Towing along 39th Avenue Southwest near Mountain View Memorial Cemetery. The employees found the body in the trunk of a silver Saturn model sedan that was impounded at the tow lot on Jan. 3.
The car was impounded from near 97th Street South and Sheridan Avenue, which is just east of I-5 from Lakewood. The Pierce County Medical Examiner is still trying to determine the identity of the victim, and police from multiple agencies are looking for suspects.
