Dead Rat Found At McDonald's In Pierce County, Again

Maybe this McDonald's should be allowed to get a cat.

PARKLAND, WA - Rats! A McDonald's along Pacific Avenue in Parkland closed down Wednesday morning after employees found a dead rat in the dining area.

And yes, this is the same McDonald's that closed on Sept. 30 due to a persistent rat infestation. The McDonald's reopened on Oct. 5 after the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department verified - with an exterminator even - that the infestation had been eradicated.

The health department was set to reinspect the restaurant next week - that is, until the rats did it for them on Wednesday.

The McDonald's will once again have an exterminator in to work on the problem. The health department will allow the restaurant to reopen once it looks like the problem has been fixed, again.

Maybe the health department should allow the McDonald's to get a cat?
