1 Dead In Shooting Near Pacific-Lutheran University
Police were investigating the deadly shooting Thursday morning along SR 7.
PARKLAND, WA - A 46-year-old man was shot to death along SR 7 near Pacific Lutheran University early Thursday morning.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office was on scene investigating the shooting, and had apprehended a 23-year-old man, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune. The shooting may have happened around 2 a.m.
“We don’t know if there’s a connection or if it was random,” sheriff’s spokesman Gary Sanders told the News-Tribune.

One lane of SR 7 was blocked during an investigation. The scene of the shooting is about two blocks east of the Pacific Lutheran University campus.
