More than 60 people turned out for the Amtrak Open House in Tillicum on November 15. For those who missed it, or those who want more information, members of the Point Defiance Bypass rail project team will be coming to speak to the Tillicum/Woodbrook Neighborhood Association on January 6, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at the Tillicum Community Center.
The Point Defiance Bypass Project Team, WSDOT writes: "We want your ideas for how we should handle noise, safety and traffic impacts. It is still early enough in the process for your ideas to influence the final design. At the meeting we will talk about the project and share what our advisory teams are working on, but we want to hear from you. So bring your questions and ideas, and join us on January 6."
