Firefighters Conduct Hazmat Training In Lakewood
Lakewood's residents may see a collection of firefighters in Hazmat gear over the next couple days, but West Pierce Fire says not to worry.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Residents of Lakewood might see more firefighters in hazmat suits hustling around over the next few days, but West Pierce Fire says not to worry— it's only a drill.
Firefighters have set up a hazmat training situation at the old QFC building on Bridgeport Way SW. They say they'll be training there Thursday, Friday, and next Monday, so if you see a large fire response in that area over the next few days, it's very likely it's nothing serious.
We are currently at the old QFC building at 9326 Bridgeport Way SW in Lakewood for HazMat training. This will continue today, tomorrow and Monday. It’s only a drill! pic.twitter.com/Ul8c6hwJL8
