2014 Grant Application Now Being Accepted
The Lakewood Community Foundation Fund (LCFF) is
currently a half million dollar permanent endowment raised by citizens and
businesses in Lakewood desiring to ensure that Lakewood remains a wonderful
community in which to live, work and play. The fund is intended to provide
funding to give back to the community for the exceptional opportunities and
quality of life in Lakewood enjoyed by our more fortunate residents. LCFF
is an endowment for Lakewood’s future. In 2014 LCFF will award $15,000 in
grant funding to promote an improved community in Lakewood.
Non-profit organizations with a focus on Lakewood are
encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will demonstrate outcomes
provided by grant funding that will measurably improve quality of life in
Lakewood. Applicants must be a 501(c) (3) pubic charity, or present a capacity
to partner with a 501(c) (3) agency. Collaborations among organizations
applying for a grant, or linking separate applicants for grants in coordinated
projects to improve living, working, or recreational conditions in Lakewood
quality are encouraged.
