Hazmat Response At IKEA: Workers Exposed To Unknown Powder
The hazmat response was reported shortly before noon on Tuesday.

SPANAWAY, WA - A hazmat team was responding to an IKEA warehouse in Spanaway just before noon Tuesday. According to Pierce County firefighters, a person at the warehouse may have been exposed to a hazardous material. The warehouse is located along 196th Street East south of Frederickson and east of SR 7.
Shortly before 2 p.m., the fire department reported that one employee had been exposed to a white powder. At that time, a hazmat team was preparing to enter a trailer on the grounds to investigate.
