House Fire In Tillicum Devastates Home
The fire happened Tuesday afternoon in the Tillicum area, according to West Pierce Fire.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A fire devastated a home in the Tillicum area Tuesday afternoon. West Pierce firefighters responded to the blaze and reported that there were no injuries as a result of the fire. The fire briefly closed roads in the neighborhood.
West Pierce Fire and Rescue reported the fire after it was out around 4 p.m. Tuesday. The fire happened at a home along 146th Street Southwest. The neighborhood where the fire broke out is east of I-5 in a residential area surrounded by Joint Base Lewis McChord.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Roads in the area were reopened as of 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, West Pierce firefighters responded to an RV fire at the Hobby Lobby near Seeley Lake Park. That fire occurred around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and there were no injuries.
