Introducing Clover Park Goal Keeper Douglas K. Kim
Warriors' Kim enters his third season as a high school soccer player and is excited to track his experiences through Patch.

Hey! My name is Douglas K. Kim and yes I’m Korean and very proud of it (v=_=v).
I am a varsity soccer player supporting my school. I've played soccer for 8 years, and this is my third with Clover Park. I play every position that my coach (Mario Guadron) puts me in, but my favorite position is the wing.
But this year, I am trying something new to start the soccer season off. I am playing goal keeper for the first time in my life, which is very exiting but also very nerve racking since it is my first time playing this position. But this doesn’t mean I wont be playing other positions through the season =D!

Now back to me as a regular student at Clover Park High School.
My favorite subjects in school are math and science. I am an only child so no brothers or sisters and no sharing! I love animals, because they are nice to have and they are just So cute!

My plan after high school is to play professional soccer or attend the University of Washington at Seattle to become a doctor. My hobbies are skateboarding, play games, eat and watch movies with friends or by myself. My favorite movies of all are "Pirates Of The Caribbean," Harry Potter," and action movies.
This opportunity to track my life through the Lakewood Patch site means a lot to me, because I can look back to what I’ve seen in my team and be able to help the team become more of a family than an individual trying to play a sport. I would also be able to encourage other players who read my stories to play with all their heart, because it doesn’t matter if you are good or bad. You can fix and improve the way you play if you really want to play the sport you enjoy.
