JBLM Mortar Training This Week
As usual, don't get worried if you hear loud explosions coming from Joint Base Lewis McChord.
LAKEWOOD, WA - You might hear mortar training at Joint Base Lewis McChord this week. The training starts early Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. and will last until 9 p.m. each day until Friday, according to the base.
The 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment will be training with 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm mortars during those times.
