JBLM Police Investigate Burned Car
Police activity along DuPoint-Steilacoom Road Wednesday was related to an investigation into a burned car.
DUPONT, WA - Joint Base Lewis-McChord police on Wednesday morning were investigating a burned car that was dumped on base property last night. There's no evidence to indicate that anyone was inside the car when it was set on fire, base spokesman Joe Piek told Patch.
Military police were on scene Wednesday morning collecting evidence to try and determine who the car belongs to, or who burned it. Expect to see police activity in the area through the morning.
The car was dumped along DuPont-Steilacoom Road near the D Gate entrance.
