JBLM Soldier Killed In Tacoma Shooting

Private first-class Da'quan Foster, 22, had served in the army for eleven months.

TACOMA, WA - Private first-class Da'quan Foster, 22, was shot and killed in a parking lot outside a nightclub early Sunday morning. KOMO News reported that Foster and his wife were leaving the Latitude 84 club in the 8400 block of South Hosmer at 1:40 a.m. when they were confronted and several shots were fired. Foster was taken to Tacoma General Hospital and later pronounced dead. His wife suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Foster was from New Rochelle, N.Y., and the father of a small child. He had been in the army for eleven months.
