JBLM Will Screen '12 Strong' For Service Members
The 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) will host a free premiere of '12 Strong' on January 13 at the Carey Theater on JBLM.

From Joint Base Lewis-McChord: The 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) will host a free premiere of “12 Strong” on Saturday, January 13 at 6 p.m. at the Carey Theater on JBLM.
The movie highlights America’s response to the 9/11 attacks, which include an initial invasion on horse by the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
The 1st SFG (A) will use the screening in coordination with the Special Operations Recruiting Battalion, the Seattle Recruiting Battalion, and the Portland Recruiting Battalion in order to showcase Special Forces and special operations to potential future Army Soldiers. Additionally, the movie will be used as an educational tool for those not familiar with the Special Forces mission.
