Lakes Football Team Travels to Play Evergreen
Clover Park football squad looks to rebound after tough loss against cross-town rival Lakes against Foster at Harry Lang Stadium 7 p.m. on Friday.

Lakes had an easy start to its schedule, opening the year with a 63-8 win over cross-town rival Clover Park.
The Lancers easily outpaced the overmatched Warriors, holding Clover Park to just 33 yards of total offense. Quarterback David Wood threw six touchdown passes in his first varsity start and wide receiver Mane Manaea caught three touchdowns.
Star athlete Cedric Dozier sat out the game due to lingering issues from a concussion, but should be back against Evergreen.

After opening the season at home, Lakes will be heading on the road for its second game. The Lancers will be traveling to Vancouver, WA to take on Evergreen this week. Evergreen is coming off a 41-7 season-opening loss to Mountain View last Friday night.
The Lakes/Evergreen game kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday night.

Clover Park Football
Clover Park will attempt to erase some of the scars from its loss to Lakes last week with a matchup against Foster. Foster is 0-1 after getting shutout by Bremerton 6-0 in its season opener.
