Lakewood Dad Arrested In Death Of 15-Month-Old Girl

LAKEWOOD, WA - Lakewood police have arrested the father of a 15-month-old girl who died in early October, according to KOMO News. The 42-year-old is facing a second-degree murder charge.

The girl was taken to a hospital from her Tillicum home on Oct. 6 after she was found not breathing. She died after three days, according to KOMO. The father was taken into custody on Monday.

In June, two young children and their mother were found dead in an apartment in a Woodbrook apartment. The father was also found dead in the apartment, and police believe he killed his family in a murder-suicide. The bodies were found after a state Child Protective Services employee called police because the family missed a scheduled appointment.
