Lakewood Mayor Joins Pierce County Executive Team
Mayor and local attorney Don Anderson will assist new County Executive Bruce Dammeier with veterans' affairs.

LAKEWOOD, WA - Mayor and Councilman Don Anderson will join the executive team of incoming Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier as senior counsel and military liaison.
The executive's office announced Dammeier's executive team picks on Thursday. Anderson, an attorney at Eisenhower and Carlson, will remain as mayor and as a City Council member while he works for the county executive.
Anderson has worked at Eisenhower and Carlson since 1981, and prior to that served as a U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General. He also represents Lakewood on the Pierce Transit board and is co-chair of the South Sound Military and Communities Partnership.

Anderson became Lakewood's fourth mayor in January 2013.
