Lakewood Teen Dies After Drive-By Shooting [Update]
The teenager, who was shot on Friday, died on Sunday, according to Lakewood police.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A 15-year-old who was shot in the face in a drive-by shooting in Lakewood on Friday night has died, according to multiple reports.
The shooting happened at around 7:30 p.m. Friday along the 8300 block of 83rd Avenue Southwest, according to Lakewood police. The teen was standing with a group of people at an apartment complex when a car drove up and the occupants opened fire. The teen was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma for treatment.
Police were able to obtain a description of the vehicle from witnesses, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune. On Sunday, Lakewood police had arrested three people - two males ages 16 and 22, and a 16-year-old female.

The scene of the shooting is in the northern section of Lakewood, north of Steilacoom Boulevard Southwest. The apartment building where the shooting occurred is just a few blocks south of Oakbrook Elementary School.
