Lakewood Woman Dies In Multi-Car SR 510 Crash

YELM, WA - A 49-year-old Lakewood woman died Friday afternoon in a four-car crash along SR 510 near Yelm. The crash happened near Reservation Road, northwest of the Red Wind Casino.

According to Washington State Patrol, Virginia Annanasio was traveling westbound when she crossed the center lane. Her Chevrolet Cobalt collided with a Jill Miller, 49, of Roy, who was traveling eastbound. Annanasio's car continued on, hitting a van driven by Devon McKenna, 56, of Yelm, head-on. McKenna's van was then hit by an SUV driven by Kenneth Ringer, 68, of Roy.

Annanasio was pronounced dead at the scene. McKenna was taken to St. Peter's Hospital for treatment, but Ringer and Miller were not injured, according to Washington State Patrol.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
