Lakewood Woman Facing Assault Charge For Throwing Knives At Kids
The woman allegedly threw knives at children ages 10 and 15, according to reports.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A local woman is facing an assault charge after she allegedly threw knives at children near her Lakewood apartment, according to multiple reports.
The 35-year-old woman was arrested after the incident, which occurred on Thursday. She allegedly tried to force her way into an apartment across the hall from her where the children live.
After trying to force her way into the apartment unsuccessfully, the woman went to her apartment and retrieved a "handful" of knives and began throwing them at the children, ages 10 and 15. When police arrived, she told them that she was "trying to hit the children's eyes," according to the Tacoma News-Tribune.

The woman has pleaded not guilty to the assault charge and is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, according to reports.
