Live-Firing At JBLM This Week May Cause Noise
The military will be conducting mine-clearing exercises this week.
LAKEWOOD, WA - The army will conduct exercises this week at Joint Base Lewis-McChord involving mine detonations that may cause noise during day and nighttime hours.
The exercises will happen between 6:30 a.m. and midnight through Dec. 7.
According to the army, the 864th Engineer Battalion, 555th Engineer Brigade will be conducting the exercises from one spot on the base.
