Whiz Kid's accomplishment: Sean, the school’s student-body president, has found success through stepping out of his comfort zone and getting more involved with school and student government.

After graduating from high school, Sean plans to attend Clover Park Technical College’s automotive program. He credits LCA for inspiring him to continue his education.

Whiz Kid's key to awesomeness: Sean said that most crucial to his ability to achieve is having the support of his family, teachers and principal Kevin Ruppercht. They inspired him to get involved with student government. He ran for school president in September and is enjoying “being part of what’s going on at school.”

Sean also said that having an open mind to “changing old habits” has paid off. He admitted that he once did not care about school, and developed a tendency not to complete his assignments.

“Now, I have a better attitude,” he said. “And I am applying myself.”
