Whiz Kid's School: Clover Park High School

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Taylor, a senior, volunteers his time helping special-needs students at Clover Park, and he also is currently teaching an art class to a Life Skills class at the school. In his spare time, he volunteers with Caring For Kids, the local nonprofit that helps needy children in local communities, and at the transportation center.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Taylor is a kind person who exhibits the utmost professionalism in his work environment, said Life Skills teacher Tara Beni.

In the past, Taylor has had some difficulties being successful in school, she said, but his attending Clover Park has been a positive experience.

“He has made steady progress and has become an excellent role model to students within his learning community,” she said.
