MOD Pizza Grand Opening In Lakewood Friday
A grand opening ceremony for the local chain's Lakewood restaurant begins Friday afternoon.
LAKEWOOD, WA - The newest MOD Pizza location is holding a grand opening ceremony today in Lakewood. The celebration begins at noon at the restaurant inside the Lakewood Towne Center, 10427 Gravelly Lake Drive Southwest.
The first 52 customers will get a free pizza, and all proceeds from pizza sales today will be donated to Generosity Feeds, which provides meals for hungry children. There will also be other prize giveaways throughout the day.
Bellevue-based MOD operates restaurants in 20 states. Similar to restaurants like Chipotle or Subway, customers at MOD build a personal pizza or salad from a variety of ingredients. MOD was founded in 2008 in Seattle but now has more than 200 restaurants across the U.S.
