Motorcyclist Hurt In Lakewood Hit-And-Run
The crash happened Saturday evening on the exit ramp from I-5 to SR 512.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Lakewood on Saturday evening. The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on the exit ramp from I-5 to SR 512. Police later arrested the suspect driver at a Lakewood business.
According to Washington State Patrol, Luis Jiminez, 23, of Tacoma, was driving southbound along I-5 and heading up the exit ramp to SR 512. The motorcyclist, Natasha Mossey, 31, of Tacoma, was stopped for traffic along the ramp. Police allege that Jiminez was speeding and hit Mossey before fleeing to the nearby Pal-Do World market parking lot.
Mossey was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma for treatment. Jiminez was arrested on suspicion of vehicular assault, felony hit-and-run, DUI, driving with a suspended license, and obstruction.
