Off-Duty Lakewood Cop Nabs Fugitive Couple
Det. Ryan Larson had just finished watching Washington's Most Wanted on television when he went to a nearby gas station and got a surprise.

For Lakewood Police Det. Ryan Larson, television time with his daughter coupled with a need to gas up led to the unexpected arrest of a couple who had been wanted on felony charges ranging from jail break to child custody violations.
According to a story posted late Wednesday on Washington's Most Wanted website, Larson said he had been watching the popular true crime show with his daughter last weekend. After they finished, he left the house to refuel his vehicle at a Hosmer Street gas station.
As Most Wanted tells it, "...(Larson) spotted Eileen Dilbeck and Joseph Williams who had just been featured (on the show). He was off-duty in his own car but he followed them to where they went and called the patrol units."
