Pierce County's Daffodil Queen Coronation in Tacoma was a success yesterday as Curtis' Claire Flemming was crowned.
A number of high schools were represented. This year, Shawnice Davis of Clover Park High and Rio Marquez-Hammitt of Lakes High showed out. Bonney Lake High School featured Peyton Jensen while Makel Ortiz was the Sumner High School Princess.
Scholarships were handed out to all the girls in the ceremony and each one made their schools proud.
