Pierce County Deputies Raid 'Notorious' Drug House, Find 22 People Inside
The 3-bedroom home, known as "the Trap House," was being used for drug sales and as a flop house for at least 22 people, police say.
PARKLAND, WA - Pierce County Sheriff's investigators and the SWAT team raided a notorious purported drug house - known locally as "The Trap House" - on Wednesday morning, finding almost two dozen people and three dogs living amid feces, piles of garbage, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Pierce County authorities arrived at the home along the 2000 block of 150th Street East in Parkland around 6 a.m. Wednesday seeking suspects on controlled substances charges. Inside, they found 22 people and three dogs. According to Pierce County records, the home only has three bedrooms and is just over 2,100 square feet.
In a Facebook post, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office said this about the conditions inside the home: "Almost every space in the residence is used for living quarters. The house was littered with uncapped syringes, heroin paraphernalia, and dog feces."

Police called the home a "notorious drug house" and said police had been called there 103 times over the last three years. They were there last in September 2016, and made four arrests after finding 26 people living in the home.
Police arrested six people in the home on outstanding warrants, and recovered a shotgun. Pierce County officials are investigating code violations in the home, and may end up condemning the house. The three dogs found in the home were impounded by animal control, police said.
