Police Ask For Public's Help With Suspected Gas Thieves
Two suspects were attempting to steal gas from a truck when the gas tank exploded.

LAKEWOOD, WA - Police are hunting for suspected gas thieves and are asking for the public's help. Police have obtained images of one of the suspects, who is described as "the lookout." The two alleged thieves snuck onto a construction site in the 11000 block of Lakewood Ave. SW on Oct. 5 around 6 p.m. One of the suspects drilled a hole in a truck's gas tank, which police said was likely an effort to steal gas.
However, the fuel ignited causing an explosion and fire that destroyed the truck. The second suspect, pictured below, was "the lookout" in the crime, according to police.
