Police Pursuit Ends In Crash Near Lakewood; 73-year-old Injured
BREAKING: One of the drivers was reportedly ejected from a vehicle during the crash.

LAKEWOOD, WA - A 73-year-old man was injured by another driver who was allegedly fleeing from police near Lakewood on Tuesday.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department reported that the incident happened before 1 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 96th and Hosmer in Tacoma, just a few blocks east of the Lakewood border.
The 24-year-old suspect driver ran a red light after police tried to stop him for driving recklessly, police said.

Both men were injured but in stable condition; the 73-year-old who was driving the truck was reportedly ejected during the crash. The 24-year-old suspect has prior convictions for vehicular assault and car theft, police said.
