Police Raid Roy Property, Arrest 'Most Wanted' Fugitive
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office expects the bust will impact property crime rates in south Pierce County.

ROY, WA - The Pierce County SWAT team recently raided a property in Roy in search of a stolen goods trafficker and drug dealer. They arrested the 46-year-old suspect, who was recently featured on "Washington's Most Wanted," and expect his capture to reduce property crime in the area.
Police were tipped off to the suspect's location after a local citizen spotted a stolen boat motor being sold online. The citizen tracked down the owner of the motor, a Mason County resident, and they worked together to get the address of the property it was being sold from.
On Nov. 10, deputies from the Mountain Detachment and the SWAT team raided the property. The suspects would not come out of the home, so police flushed them out with tear gas. Four people came out of the home, but police spotted a fifth person trying to escape onto the building's roof.
