Presidents' Day: What's Open, What's Closed
In observance of Presidents' Day, many government offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 20.

Closures
- Government offices, including all federal, state, Pierce County and the City of University Place.
- Schools, including Clover Park School District (which is on mid-winter break) and Pierce Community College at Fort Steilacoom. Mid-winter break for PSD: Feb. 21-24.
- U.S. Post Office will be closed, but FedEx and UPS will be open.
- Pierce County Library System, including the locations in Lakewood
- Pierce Transit: Services will operate on a regular weekday schedule. Pierce Transit administrative offices and the Bus Shop locations on Commerce Street and at the Tacoma Dome Station will be closed.
- Lakewood Family YMCA: Regular hours.
- Most stores and restaurants will be open as normal.
- State liquor stores: Most will be open, including the Lakewood stores.
