Public Invited to Review New Science Materials for Clover Park Schools Today and Saturday
New instructional materials for grades 6-12 will be adopted for next fall.

Clover Park School District is adopting new science instructional materials for grades 6-12 next school year. As part of the selection process, teachers, parents and community members are invited to review the recommended materials this afternoon.
The science materials showcase will be held from 1 to 6:30 p.m. in room 6A of the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Drive S.W.
Middle- and high-school teachers across the district have been “piloting”
the new science instructional materials this school year.

The materials will also be available for review at the district’s Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lakes High School, 10320 Farwest Drive S.W.
A recommendation for purchase of new science materials will be given to the school board this spring and the materials will be used in classrooms beginning next fall.
