Pursuit On I-5 Ends In Crash Near Lakewood
The incident was blocking at least two lanes of I-5 around 1 p.m. Thursday.

LAKEWOOD, WA - State and local police chased a carjacking suspect down I-5 Thursday afternoon. The pursuit ended near the Thorne Lane exit when a state trooper used a PIT maneuver to stop the suspect.
As of 1 p.m., two of the southbound lanes were blocked, but police expected them to reopen by about 1:30 p.m. According to police, the suspect was wanted after a carjacking that occurred on Wednesday.
Pursuit South bound I 5 ended at Thorne lane. 2 lanes blocked. Suspect in custody. Vehicle was stolen and used in a car jacking yesterday. Suspect had warrants. Lanes will be open in 20 minutes.
