Reminder: Custer Road Lanes Reduced For Construction
A repaving project along a busy stretch of Custer Road was causing delays on Tuesday.
LAKEWOOD, WA — Lakewood city officials were reporting backups Tuesday morning due to the ongoing Custer Road overlay project.
The project began last week, and includes repaving of the roadway between 88th Street Southwest and John Dower Road. The paving on Tuesday morning was affecting the southbound lanes, with Custer down to one lane in each direction.
Drivers should expect delays for the duration of the project. The work will only be happening during daytime hours, between around 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
