Reward Offered For Lakewood Gun Thieves

A total of $3,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of burglars who broke into the Big Five Sporting Goods.

LAKEWOOD, WA — On May 6, two men worked together to steal several guns from the Big Five Sporting Goods in Lakewood. Now, a reward is being offered for any information that leads to their arrest.

Investigators say that around 4 a.m. on May 6, one of the burglars broke in through the roof of the Big Five, climbed down into the store, and stole three rifles and several boxes of bullets. He also stole several Airsoft rifles as well.

After the theft, security footage shows the man meeting with a second suspect in the parking lot outside the store, and the two driving off together.

Now, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and Crimestoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County are offering a combined $3,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of these two suspects.
