Second Suspect In JBLM Soldier's Murder Arrested In Seattle

SEATTLE, WA - The second suspect in the Oct. 29 killing of a Joint Base Lewis-McChord solider in Tacoma was arrested in Seattle Monday night. The suspect was taken to the Pierce County Jail on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Da'quan Foster, 22, was shot and killed outside Latitude 84, a sports bar along 84th Street near exit 128 on I-5. Foster's wife was also shot, but survived with non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday, Tacoma police detectives came to Seattle with an arrest warrant for the second suspect. Police from Seattle, Bellevue, and the King County Sheriff's office assisted with Tacoma police in the lead, Tacoma police Officer Shelbie Boyd told Patch.

The murder suspect was arrested without incident, Boyd said, as was a second person. The second person was interviewed in Tacoma and later released. Police also found a quantity of marijuana inside the building where the suspect was located.
The arrest happened on the border of Seattle and the unincorporated Skyway area. The suspect was inside a commercial building at the intersection of Renton Avenue South and South 116th Place. The building at one point housed a hookah club.

Last week, police arrested Marshall M. Wilson, of Kent, on charges of second-degree murder, assault, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Foster died around 2 a.m. Oct. 29 after an argument turned into a fistfight, according to court records.
