Shooting Suspect Caught After Brief Standoff In South Tacoma
The incident happened just east of I-5 before noon on Tuesday.

TACOMA, WA - A shooting in South Tacoma near Lakewood Tuesday morning led to a brief standoff between a suspect and the county SWAT team. The suspect and two others were holed up in an outbuilding during the standoff.
A shooting just before noon near the intersection of South 76th Street and South J Street touched off the standoff. Streets in the area were briefly closed due to the shooting and SWAT situation.
It's unclear if anyone was injured during the incident. We will update this post as soon as we find out more details.
