Tacoma Narrows Toll Maintenance Will Cause Detours This Week
Drivers headed toward Tacoma will be detoured through the toll booths.
LAKEWOOD, WA - The Good To Go! toll lanes across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday nights for maintenance, and all drivers will be detoured through the toll booths, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Both nights, the on-ramp at 24th Street Northwest will close at 8 p.m., and the Good To Go! tolling lanes will close at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the next morning.
The closures are necessary, WSDOT says, to perform annual maintenance on electronic tolling equipment.
