Teen Shot In Lakewood Drive-By Identified, Suspect Charged With Murder
The 15-year-old was shot in the head Friday night in Lakewood and died on Sunday.

LAKEWOOD, WA - The 15-year-old shot on Friday night in a Lakewood drive-by shooting has been identified as Chase McKee.
McKee's family identified him as the shooting victim on Facebook. On his personal Facebook account, McKee indicated that he was from Tacoma and worked at Clear Choice Cannabis. However, the Tacoma News-Tribune reported that McKee was from University Place.
McKee died on Sunday. Reports indicate that he was shot in the head.

On Monday, Pierce County prosecutors charged Billy G. Williamson, 22, with first-degree murder and five counts of first-degree assault, according to Q13. Williamson allegedly showed up to fight someone at the apartment complex where the shooting took place; McKee was there and was shot during a confrontation.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday along the 8300 block of 83rd Avenue Southwest, according to Lakewood police.

Police were able to obtain a description of the vehicle from witnesses, according to the Tacoma News-Tribune. On Sunday, Lakewood police had arrested three people - Williamson, a 16-year-old male and a 16-year-old female.
The scene of the shooting is in the northern section of Lakewood, north of Steilacoom Boulevard Southwest. The apartment complex where the shooting occurred is just a few blocks south of Oakbrook Elementary School.
